hot fuzz is pretty awesome. wes and i saw it during a press screening at the e-street theater. its a cop-movie spoof made by the same guys who did ’shaun of the dead’ (one of my favorite movies of all time)

there was a pretty enjoyable story in sunday’s ny times about the current uptick in the number of zombie movie releases. they discuss interesting concepts about the history of zombie movies, the reason that people like them so much currently, and so on.
