hot fuzz is pretty awesome. wes and i saw it during a press screening at the e-street theater. its a cop-movie spoof made by the same guys who did ’shaun of the dead’ (one of my favorite movies of all time)

RFD is the sister-bar to the brickskeller.  located in “Chinatown” (hah!), it boasts over 30 taps, nearly all of which are craft beers.  they also carry over 300 bottled and canned beers, which is about a third of what the brickskeller carries, but eh, still a ton of beer.

just finished reading snow crash.  the story is great, and stephenson’s writing is as amazing as ever in this book.
